The holiday season can be stressful under even the best of circumstances, but it can be even more so for people who have addiction in their families. On Nov. 19, the Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce hosted an online Listen and Learn event that gave advice on how to navigate the holidays amid family addiction.

"We know that (the holidays) can be wonderful. They're a time of celebration, and they can also be really difficult so I want to help you take a closer look at why that may be the case," Healy said.
